Mars' Southern Half is Super Hot Underground!

Researchers have discovered that the southern half of Mars is much warmer underground than the northern half. Using a new technique, they found that the interior of the southern hemisphere is hundreds of degrees hotter and even partially molten. This exciting finding helps scientists learn more about the geology of Mars and how it differs from Earth.
