Chimps Teach Young Skills Using Tools

Researchers have observed adult chimpanzees in Senegal teaching their young how to use tools. They showed them how to fish for ants with sticks and how to open baobab fruit by smashing it against rocks. This behavior highlights the intelligence of chimps and how they pass on important survival skills to the next generation.
