Vaccinating Albatrosses to Fight Avian Flu
Wildlife biologists are working hard to protect shy albatrosses in Tasmania from avian flu by vaccinating them. They plan to give up to 100 of these large seabirds two doses of the vaccine. After the vaccinations, they will monitor the birds using remote cameras to ensure their health. This effort highlights the importance of protecting wildlife and the innovative ways scientists are helping animals stay safe.
